Features: Creating Content

As a teacher, MAPS provides tremendous flexibility when it comes to creating content for students' courses of study. As well as adding in the resources included in MAPS you can

  • Create quizzes
  • Add SCORM compliant courses that  you   create yourself or that are available from other vendors
  • Edit existing assessment tasks

Once you've created new content you can add these to a class, group or individual's course of study and you can keep tabs on them all from within your teacher's portfolio.

The MAPS User Guide explains the process and includes useful tutorials. Training and online support is also available. MAPS uses QTI (Question and Test Interoperability) format for its quizzes. Using the simple QTI software you can quickly create a quiz and have your quiz checked for errors.

Schools can also share new resources that they have created.
